In the first video, I showed you the recipe for Sicilian/Italian chicken soup handed down from my grandmother which I still follow to this day. In this video, I added more about the meatballs that she would make to add to the soup which gave it its distinctive flavor and aroma. There was nothing more exciting as a kid growing up in Catania, Sicily than smelling and then enjoying my grandmother's chicken soup. The aroma was enjoyed by many in the village and they all came to our home to enjoy her soup on a Sunday. Sometimes she would surprise the grandkids and the local villagers by cooking soup during the week which would be a cause for celebration. Follow along with the video as this is also the recipe for my meatballs that go along with our Sunday pasta meals. The pic included is of full-size meatballs, not the tiny ones in the soup. The recipe is the same.
