Taking a Leftover Deli Sandwich & Refreshing It

Just adding somer cucumber and other stuff helps!

I bought a fantastic deli sandwich the other night at our local Vons supermarket. I was impressed with the sandwich and the quality.

They use Board Head meats and fresh cheese, cut before making, fresh lettuce, and a great sauce made with oil and vinegar with spices.

After a little over a day (today), I decided to freshen up the sandwich by adding a few things after taking the lettuce out. It had reached its maximum stay of crispiness.

So I added some cucumber slices to a mix of sweet relish ( I had no pickles laying around), with some balsamic vinegar, avocado oil, crushed red pepper, and voila, new flavor and crispiness.

You can add whatever you want, of course, to make it your recipe. So take that leftover sandwich and get creative.

Boun Appetito!
