What's the difference between Sicilian and Italian chicken soup? It's just like the bread, it has to do with the region, the ingredients, and the cook behind the soup. In this recipe which is from my grandmother, the chicken soup is a standard Sicilian/Italian recipe handed down from generation to generation. The difference in this soup is the tiny meatballs. Yes, meatballs are added to the soup which gives it its depth of taste. There is nothing like it when finished. The recipes for the meatballs are in the second video titled The Meatballs for the Soup." The recipe shown is the same recipe as the one I use to make my spaghetti and meatballs, handed down from my grandmother also. Buon Apetito!
