See that logo above? That's the logo for my new newsletter, FRES FRESH.

I started a newsletter about restaurant reviews around Fresno County and other spots in California we travel to.

I used to write restaurant reviews on NewsBreak, for which I had a significant following. I was making money and happy to a point.

At first, any review I wrote about a restaurant outside of Fresno was tagged and didn't get highlighted like the Fresno ones. They wanted you to only write about your area, which made it challenging when we would go to the coast and have just great food that I wanted to write about.

There are some great restaurants here in Fresno and the surrounding areas, including the coast, and I believe everyone should know about these spots.

Second, they changed the way we were getting paid. I went from making six to seven hundred dollars a month to twenty-two cents. You're reading that correctly: $600-700 down to 22 cents!

So I figured, why not write where I can write about any place we dine outside Fresno and beyond and still get recognition?

So that brings us to this announcement.

FRESFRESH will cover the restaurants we dine at routinely and new ones we try. We will be looking for the freshest fresh food, drinks, and everything you want to know about.

Plus, it's free. There will never be a paywall for this newsletter.
