So you're probably wondering what we have in store for you on DelPaggio's Cucina for 2023, right?
We've been spending the last few weeks planning new things for 2023, and we're still not finished, but I can give you a little insight as to what's coming first.
We plan on starting the cook-a-long in 2023, most likely in the first quarter. We promise to keep the price as low as possible. There will be a small charge for the cook-a-along to cover the cost of the food we will wise for the recipes.
We're still working on the platform to control the video, but we have a few options on the table right now, and we're testing them out. So all we can do is ask you to be patient; DelPaggio's Cook-a-Long is coming soon.
Coming Up
Next is a couple of new newsletters being added to DelPaggio's. The first newsletter will be a collection of recipes from home, family and friends, readers, and the food magazines we have stacked on the office floor that we've read over the last few years.
There are some great recipes inside these magazines that we haven't tried, but maybe you will, and you can let us know about them.
The reason for separating the recipes into its own newsletter is it just makes sense. DelPaggio's Cucina main page will always post videos and some stories, but here in the recipe section, we can get a little more personal about many of the recipes we share as well as the recipes from family, friends, and readers of this newsletter.
Let's Talk Soup
Next is an experiment we're considering, but to make it happen, we have to have some substance, so another newsletter within DelPaggio's makes sense. This newsletter will be all about soup.
We know we could have just added this in the recipe section, but for us, soup holds a special place in our heart, as we hope it does for you.
To go along with this particular section, we would like to add a video-recorded interview with readers, other food writers, or possibly a celebrity or two, local, and national (if we can get them) to talk about life, food, writing, or whatever comes up over a bowl of soup.
Chat
Substack now has a chat feature we have turned on for DelPggio's Cucina, which we hope to use to our advantage. It'll be a great place for Q&A, chatting about recipes, or maybe getting help from us or others when needed.
The chat room will be up to everyone that follows DelPaggio's to construct. We'll be there to keep the energy flowing.
